About Us

As a young girl, I was always told you should leave a place cleaner than you found it- particularly when enjoying outdoor activities.  In college , my first taste of an organic tomato was a revelation that spurred me toward creating a more organic lifestyle for myself..  As I began my subsequent studies in  Interior Architecture and Design, it seemed an obvious choice to combine my love of organics and concern for the welfare of the planet and its inhabitants with beautiful, useful interior spaces. I moved to New Hampshire in late 2003 and bought my first house (which needs a lot of renovations!) I realized then that there was a need in Northern New England for a store that made it easy, and affordable for people to get green options for their homes.  After nearly a year of searching for the best products and distributors, Your Home, Your World opened in November 2006. It is my goal to offer products that help to lessen our negative impact on the planet, help other people, who aren’t as fortunate as we are, to live happier, healthier lives, and help to create spaces that are healthier for the inhabitants.

Your Home, Your World is an independently owned and operated store.  I run it with the help of wonderful assistants, which some days include my husband Matthew and Boston Terrier Oliver.
